Office Assistant - Chloe Apartments

Full Time | Regular

Reports to Satellite Property Manager

Compensation: Hourly, DOE + Benefits | Non-Exempt

 

Brief Description

The Office Assistant at Chloe Apartments is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Responsible for processing rent, invoices, and notices. Are you an enthusiastic, professional, and authentic individual who can provide the best possible customer service on behalf of Blanton Turner? Relationships

  • Report to the Satellite Property Manager.
  • Works on a team out of the Chloe Leasing Office with Satellite Property Manager and Leasing Agent.
  • Interact with Blanton Turner Principals, employees and associates in a professional manner.
  • Interact with residents and tenants with the highest level of customer service and positive, will-do attitude.
  • Work proactively with business partners including all vendors and other personnel serving the property and its residents.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Computer literate; proficient with productivity software including MS Office, PDF Software, Office 365, Google Docs and Yardi.
  • Excellent customer service, communication skills and writing skills required.
  • Able to multi-task and achieve high-quality results under tight deadlines and changing work priorities.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • 4 year degree and/or equivalent Real Estate or Property Management experience preferred.

Duties

  • Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures 

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

  • Ensure all checks are deposited within 24 hours of receipt. 

  • Ensure all Accounts Payable are paid within an appropriate timeframe to ensure accounts remain current.

  • Ability to analyze resident ledgers and communicate delinquency and/or discrepancy in charges

  • Upload and maintain physical and electronic property and resident files.

  • Assist on-site leasing staff touring prospects, handling leasing inquiries, and scheduling tours

  • Contribute to concierge services by receiving incoming packages, checking guests into guest suite, and distributing keys to dog walkers
